Yousry is a technical specialist working for Insight. He is very passionate about all things data including Big Data, Machine Learning and IoT.

His experience spans application development stack like C#, web technologies and integration in addition to big data and AI stack. In the last few years, he was mainly working on applications involving Spark, DataBricks, Data Factory & Azure IoT.

Leila Etaati

Leila is the only AI Microsoft MVP in New Zealand and Australia, she had a Ph.D. in Information System, she is an international speaker that spoke in more than 100 conferences in the different well-known conferences like Microsoft ignite in USA, Europe, Asia, and Australia and New Zeland, She is an expert in AI and Business intelligence and work in this area for more than 10 years.

Brooke Jamieson

Brooke is the Head of Enablement – AI/ML and Data at Blackbook.ai, an Australian based consulting firm specialising in automation, artificial intelligence, data and digital. Brooke has degrees in Mathematics and Data Engineering, and combines this with professional experience to work together with clients to consult, deploy and nurture intelligent solutions. Overall, they specialise in researching & developing technically robust solutions that help “non-data people” harness the power of AI for their industry, and communicate this effectively.

Outside of their ‘day job’, Brooke speaks at Data, AI, Software Engineering, UX and Business conferences and events to Australian and international audiences, and has guest lectured two subjects at the University of Queensland Business School. Brooke is proudly a volunteer member of the Queensland National Science Week Committee, and is always on the lookout for new ways to promote STEM pathways to young people, especially young women and members of the LGBTIQA+ community from regional Australia.

Craig Bryden

Craig Bryden is Chief Executive: Data Strategy at Brisbane based consultancy BiTQ (www.bitq.com.au). Craig has been a BI / Data Analytics specialist for over 20 years and is on a journey to learn all about Machine Learning. Craig is a current Microsoft Data Platform MVP and is the founder of the QLD Power BI User Group.

Akanksha Malik

Akanksha is a Data Scientist at Telstra Purple, a Microsoft AI MVP and an international speaker. After studying Financial Maths and Actuarial Science at UCC, Ireland, she realised she wanted to work with people as well as numbers. At Purple, she is working with clients to help them solve problems by making more informed decisions with data.

She is a firm believer in diversity and inclusivity. She loves machine learning, and that it is becoming more accessible to everyone. She is an avid advocate for women in STEM and is currently the network director of Women Who Code Melbourne.
